There's a problem with the sentence

"Portrayal of mothers (as opposed to other parents and carers) as responsible for children: "If mums begin to rely on the filter to keep their children safe, rather than monitoring their children’s internet use themselves, children will actually be less safe than before the filter was in place."

The problem is not that mothers are portrayed as responsible for children, it's that they're portrayed as essentially and exclusively responsible for children, with dads not mentioned. I can just see the above sentence being misinterpreted by EFA apologists as meaning HAT, CIB etc are opposed to women being responsible for children at all!Cast Iron Balcony 20:47, May 30, 2010 (UTC)
