Pimp the Backhanding[]

What is it?[]

This card game was released on February 14th, 2005 designed by Arthaus Games and published by White Wolf where the goal of the game was to seduce and then prostitute the "best" and most expensive prostitutes you could find. It is a satirical parody of 1970's media portrayal of pimps.

Issues[]

  • Objectification
    • The images of the women are all highly sexualized
    • The text of the rules literally rates women according to their financial acceptability
  • Physical violence
    • Characters have a "backhanding" score
    • There is a part of the game where you attack the women controlled by another player

Excuses[]

  • Sexist humor A warning on the White Wolf Site that Arthaus Games doesn't condone, but is trying to make light of stereotypes.
