Donna Benjamin is a community facilitator, often found submitting patches to the social fabric of Free and Open Source Software groups by organising events and get-togethers. She runs Creative Contingencies, a micro business focused on delivering customised web application services and hosting, organising events and undertaking research and facilitation for a range of clients in the education and small business sector in Australia.
Donna's favourite open source projects include Inkscape and Sugar. She is a former board member of Open Source Industry Australia, and continues to co-ordinate OSIA's Melbourne meetings. Donna is currently President of Linux Users of Victoria, one of Australia's largest Linux User Groups. As a contributing member of Linux Australia Donna organised linux.conf.au in Melbourne in 2008, and continues to participate in LA's education sub-committee and web team.
